It feels so nice to be traveling internationally. Using the Batman for its intended purpose. Back at ORD United Club with a decent beer, then two months traversing Europe.

Anyone stuck at ORD for the last few hours?
Airline delay caused me to miss my connection from international to domestic - had to stay overnight at ORD and fly out this AM. Will chase sapphire preferred cover my expenses since my flight was missed due to an airline issue? (My flight delay meets the 12hr threshold)
Flying for work after 1.5 years. Can anyone tell me if getting an Uber to ORD at 530am is difficult and whether I should plan extra time to get through security? It feels like forever … I’ve forgotten how to travel

Is 45min enough time to catch a connecting flight at ORD? Both flights are with United if that makes a difference
Favorite L line and why? I’ll start. The Blue line has a special place in my heart for 24/7 service to ORD and the fact that it runs through Wicker Park where I lived during my first summer internship in Chicago. There’s a bar/lounge named after it under the Damen stop! You get the elevated train experience as well as the underground section in/near the loop. It runs in the middle of two expressways, the Eisenhower and the Kennedy.

Extra 30 mins for traffic today at MSP. People can't handle merging and they've shut down one lane and a parking entrance.
NFTs. I get it on principle. I’m there for it! But I read headlines and basically art NFT space is like buying sneakers. They’re a big deal if you think they’re a big deal. But yeah, I guess that is art. Idk… I scroll through open sea and it’s like a church rummage sale of crap. I desperately want to join in the excitement of this new and next thing, but beyond licensing… which requires demand first… I guess I don’t get it.
Anyone hanging at IAD?
I fly through DFW a lot and some DFW security officer sent me a connection request on LinkedIn. No idea who he is. Should I be creeped out?
ATL Uber North Terminal pickup has moved. It isn't near where it was and all signage hasn't changed. Lots of us went to the old pickup. Exit now looks to be near baggage claim 1. MH
still annoys me that Deloitte brought my brother in at Analyst out of grad school - same level as UG - when his internship feedback was fabulous & I know he’s better than many consultants
Is the Business Analyst Business Planning and Operations, NA sales at Facebook worth it? Is it different from the Business Planning and Operations Associate role? 3 years of experience at S&ADeloitte
I spend so much time getting others to do work for me & communicating with partners and clients that I hardly get anything done myself. Gunning for manager, or about to get fired for being useless?

I’m trying to take leave due to mental health/ burnout. Has anyone been successful in getting approved for Short Term Disability and /or FMLA via a therapist/licensed counselor (LPC) or do they need to be a psychiatrist? Thank you I’m advance 👍
Does anyone have a good way of dealing with sudden rushes of anxiety? I get anxious really easily before any medical exam/large meetings where I have to speak/presentations. However once I start speaking I am no longer anxious, so this doesn’t really affect my performance. I am just worried these anxiety spurs may jeopardize my health. Anyone else feels the same?
Anyone working at Amazon in the Arlington area willing to talk about the PM role? Thanks!

MBB folks on H1-B who recently switched to FAANG - did you run into any issues with visa transfer? My transfer has been filed and I’m a bit nervous about USCIS’ perception of consultants and the current sentiment around H1-B visas.
Any mid-level copywriters looking for work? We had another writer leave and are looking to fill the position. It's a small shop with incredible creative leadership and fun food accounts. Trust me, you’ll get a lot of opportunities and have a blast. PM a link to your book and I'll tell you more.
I was diagnosed with ADHD a long time ago, and because of the low severity of it and the affects of adderall I decided to not be medicated. I think with WFH and Covid times it’s gotten a lot worse for me and I’ve noticed my work performance tanking and my anxiety rising in public accounting. I know this is normal for people in PA who don’t even have ADHD, but does anyone have any advice??
What was your consulting salary at age 29?
I have round 2 interviews coming up with Kearney for an Associate role within the Strategic Operations practice. Is anyone else here practicing, looking to practice, or has had experience with the firm? Would love to understand a few things: 1) Types of cases to expect. 2) Is the format very different from the McKinsey style of casing? Aside from Kearney expecting the candidate to lead the case. 3) I've heard cases are mostly Operations oriented. Is that true? Thank you in advance
Spinoff question... I know FMLA technically only covers you if you've worked for 12 months at your employer but has anyone actually had their employer say "sorry you we only here for 10 months so you can take your two weeks of accrued vacation, after that we'll expect you back." ? Since FMLA is unpaid anyway, I would imagine most employers would at least let you have unpaid time off.
