Anyone here successfully transitioned to an in-house role on an H1B visa? Fifth year in big law and I’m finding out that that’s my biggest hurdle right now.

Has anyone in the guard ever picked up long term (12+ months) orders at NGB in Arlington? As an m day guy that title ten would be golden.

I am holding two offers,

1. Tiger Analytics for Senior DE role, WFH.
2. Fractal for DE role, 6 weeks DE Training later project, WFH.

Finding both companies similar in terms of project. Please help pick one.

My company blames my generation for not being able to hire everyday. “You guys don’t want to work” coming from some overweight, racist, old coaster. I’ve barely taken any days off this year and pick up “skeleton crew” days any chance I get. I was able to work out a deal with my company before I came because of prior experience luckily, but they offer a terrible base salary and sham of a commission structure to new hires + no remote. Then sit here and can’t figure out why…

Would you take a pay cut to move from an on-site to a fully remote position? If so what % of a cut and where would you move if anywhere?

Help needed!! I have 4 years of IT sourcing experience and I am looking for a contract position $60/hr min sourcing Corporate or IT. Does anyone know of any fully remote opportunities you can forward me? I currently work at a great company, but my contract is ending soon and I’ve been with them for a while and I think it’s time for leave for more competitive pay.
