Thoughts or insights on feasible Acct/Finance/consulting positions ranked by highest compensation post Big 4 Sr. Audit Associate?
Senior audit associate looking to jump to consulting/advisory in Chicago. What should I expect for salary? [Just finished first year as senior]
As an audit associate with 3 busy seasons or 3 years under their belt what would you expect, salary wise leaving the Big 4 to go into industry. What would you expect after making senior?
What should I expect for an Experienced Audit Associate starting salary? LCOL area. B4 and Regional Firms. I believe most firms begin Associates out of college at around $53-$55K here.
Currently exp audit associate (1.5 years at firm). Looking to move into industry internal audit. Currently at 65.5k, what is a reasonable salary to expect and ask for?

Promoted to Audit Associate with a 3 rating. Was a new hire last fall, and was told firm almost never gives out 1/2 to new hired. Had distinctions and was rated 2 on projects. Salary bump 63k to 67k.
2 years exp., audit associate up for promo to senior. What's yall's typical salary and bonus or % increase for ppl going into year 3, or to senior level? Say office loc, so I can adj appropriately.
I just reached 200k total comp. How long did it take for you to reach 300k total comp? Currently 32, and want to pay off 200k in student loans and have kids by my own. No partner.
No one in my office works past 7pm or takes their comp home, yet staff charge hours are around 60 per week. Doesn't seem to add up. Are people padding their time?
Does the wellness bonus refresh on Jan 1? I've got $350 left. Started in August, so I'm not sure if I should try to use it all by end of December.
What would you consider a starting salary range for an individual with 10 years experience in the industry and a CFP certificate of just over a year?
What do you provide as a range for salary expectation in the initial (recruiter) round/a for a strategy manager - I struggle because I am totally ready for a pay cut in exchange for a better wlb. cont
Is 108 base + 12K equity an acceptable offer with no bonus for 3 YOE in NYC? I know it is relative to most in US, and don’t mean to be ungrateful, but curious in comparison to consulting/tech/finance
Question: All would like to get some input from seniors strictly from a financial stance. I transitioned from consulting to FAANG (4 yrs experience post UG) and was having a conversation with an ex-partner this past weekend who was advising me to go to mba school and considering high finance. Strictly speaking from a comp perspective - is it true that the ratio of folks breaking the $1M a year barrier to entering analysts is significantly higher in finance than in high tech?
Currently working at a large civil defense firm but have the opportunity to move to a small two person firm and take over for an attorney becoming a judge. The partners were honest with me and informed me that the firm is having money problems this year- the remaining partner said he may not take a salary next year to ensure I (and our paralegal) are paid. I am a bit worried to leave my financially stable position but also think it’s a great opportunity, thoughts?
What’s the average salary for a creative in a big city? Graduated last year and have been traveling. Now I’m interviewing for jobs and not sure how much to ask for
Just resigned but received a counter offer from my current job with matching salary and title increase, leaving me stumped about what to do. Curious on thoughts about taking a counter offer?
In your opinion, how do consulting titles map to industry titles? And do recruiters tend to agree with this? Worried recruiters see “Manager” at consulting firm and consider me for a Manager position in industry, which really doesn’t match up to experience or responsibility (or comp). How have you gotten around this?
Thoughts on a late 1st year going in-house? I'm getting close to an offer with a decent corp, in a dream location (Miami) with equal or slightly increased salary (cravath scale). My story is unique because I had significant experience prior to law school that makes me somewhat marketable to the company. While I'm well aware of my limited practice knowledge, I don't feel like I'm actually learning in my current role anyway. I also have zero interest in making partner. Is this too soon to jump?
#ReferralAlert I have an experienced professional who is looking to be a PM Analyst (I know, "why?"Lol). Anyone looking for a bonus? Please share your burner and I'll shoot her resume over.
What are some high paying jobs in industry that I can exit to from Big4 Forensics? Need a better WLB and $$$? I’m in the southeast.
4 1/2 years of experience at Accenture. What salary range to provide to Deloitte recruiter for SC level GPS? What’s a decent salary to expect?
Thoughts on project manager career path? I’m 23. Interview scheduled for large financial company. PM for digital innovation. Not sure comp, likely six figures+. No direct PM experience
Has there ever been a point where you feel like you “get it”, or are you still just figuring it out day by day? My practice says they’re positioning me for a leadership role and I have a great brand
Arguably racist comments aside, what has Trump actually done, not said, that is racist? I understand some will say the wall and the travel ban. But those seem to me more nationalist actions.
How do you manage breakfast when they eat it in class? I feel like my classroom is such a mess before it is even 9 a.m.
Every state should only do mail in voting and all polling places should remain closed for covid. Not worth killing people just to put in a vote, and with mail in voting we can actually get a majority to vote. If you’re against mail in voting, your goal is to obviously get fewer people to vote, which is mind boggling. It’s not a win a very small minority voted for you. Let’s actually represent our citizens.
Need a weekend to clear my mind and am thinking of taking my first solo trip. Looking for a pretty, preferably quiet beach front, nearby casual cafes, yoga studio would be a plus :) Recommendations?
So, what have been some of the most important lessons that people have learned from this year's year-end process?
In college I was sexually assaulted by a guy in my larger friend group. I didn’t press charges, but I ended up telling a few people in my friend group and gradually everyone found out. I tried to avoid him at all costs, but it was hard because we had the same friends and he was popular. Now after college I’m invited less & I feel like I’m gradually being cut out of our larger friend group. I want to find new friends, but it’s so hard to feel excluded. I feel depressed. What do I do?
