Are boeing people serious about hiring? Got offered 20% hike and HR was trying to sell it like they are giving around 40% hike. Told me that the offered CTC is being calculated on fixed.

Got an offer from Google, which is less than my current comp (2nd yr AP at McK). Don't have any counter offer yet. Tips on how to negotiate a higher number?

Currently an engineer in MCOL area with 4 years experience (post graduating, not counting experience before/during college and large side gigs).
