I think if there's an opportunity to write a cover letter it should be written. I don't write an entirely new letter, of course. I have a core cover letter saved as a Google Doc, and I can customize it depending on the position and company I'm applying to. The value of a cover letter is that you can highlight things that may not be obvious in the bare bones resume format. And you can show some personality or writing style if that's appropriate. If someone just repeats what's on their resume, then there's no point to it.

I don’t think they’re a total waste, but I do think recruiters care more about resumes. I only take the time to write one if I know a human is actually going to read it.

Have 4.2yrs exp in Analytics(SQL/python/tableau)
I have an offer of CTC-22 (20fixed+ 2bonus)
My CCTC is 15.5(13.5fixed)

My NP is about to end.
I gave 10-15 company interviews and converted 4 offers. But could get max offer of 22. Though it's a great amount, I see many here who get 25-30lpa offer with same profile.

Plz tell if 22 is fair amount or below avg for 4+ yr exp in analytics domain.
Also plz share your work ex and company name if you got more with similar profile.
