Hello,
I am a consulting analyst who would like to become an investment banking analyst. I have seen a lot of positions requiring candidates with 1-3 years experiences in IB. I have the skills to do the job requirements but have not got the opportunity to get an interview. Anyone who has been in the industry would like to share some tips or share the type of skills that will stand out when getting screened by HR for the first interview, please let me know. I just need 10 minutes of your time.

Hi 🐠 ! If I’m 100% new to casing (have a business degree but have been in audit for a year), how long do you recommend practicing case interviews to be strong at it? Is 6-8 weeks sufficient? Would likely be applying for analyst/associate roles. My friends in consulting keep reassuring me that it’s a learned skill but after watching my first case interview ngl I’m pretty intimidated 😅

I will be joining Infosys this Thursday as a 7+ YOE Tech Lead. I am an avid trekker and every year I go on a trek at least once which requires me to take a 5-7 working days off. Its actually my passion.

Just wanted to know how difficult it is to get leaves approved and officially before how many days do i need to inform my manager?

Is there any SOP for applying leaves at Infy?

Just finished an interview for an AE role at a high-growth SaaS organization.

The interviewer told me that their quotas are very high - barely any of their sales reps hit quota YoY. They mentioned, “goals are high to push our reps. hence our YoY growth”

Currently annoyed at having to take appellate action up to state Supreme Court level on general personal jurisdiction bc judges either cant differentiate from the specific personal jurisdiction analysis or are protecting plaintiffs counsel. Is this an issue on a national scale?

Any advice for someone in a non-product centric organization where stakeholders seem to pawn off all responsibility/work to the product team instead of taking ownership? Ex: when assigned tasks to complete, the stakeholder holds their hand out and wait for all the relevant information/training/documentation to be resolved by product team as opposed to working collaboratively. Need some suggestion. I have knowledge of python pandas and numpy, Advance Excel,SQL and AWS QuickSight . Knows a bit of Data Central ETL, AWS Redshift and some Tableau Dashboarding. Can you folks suggest what job profile I can apply or programs to learn and so I can choose certain career path. Bit of confused right now as I dont know what to do and stuck at a job I dont like whose main purpose is to develop SQL queries. Your inputs will help a lot in shaping my career.
