Applied to a role earlier this week and the hiring manager for the role viewed my LinkedIn profile today. Since I haven’t gotten an email yet from them regarding a potential interview, would it be worth reaching out to the hiring manager on LinkedIn? Or is it better to wait to see if they reach out to me over the next few days?

Hello, just another consultant with major imposter syndrome but I get high marks during reviews. Final round at Facebook soon and now I’m doubting whether I’ll be able to survive there (PMM role), bc classic imposter syndrome. How brutal is Facebook at pushing people out?
Are there any grounds for a lawsuit against companies that misrepresent themselves in recruiting? I, and many in my cohort, feel like this isn’t the role that was sold. We gave up other great opportunities based on those lies. It seems like this should be illegal or at least have some civil liability.
Done after today. Hawaii from Dec 26 to Jan 15 wishing you all a stress free holiday ✌️
I’ve been super supportive of the lgbt community most of my life, but something about the whole Elliot Page thing rubbed me the wrong way and sent me down a bit of a rabbit hole. I have no problem with someone being trans; the thing that bothered me was the culture policing going on around deadnaming and shaming people. Then I found out about xenopronouns (ze/zem etc.) and it feels...odd. Like I’m playing this game of pretend where people get mad or shamed for not playing. Idk, I feel (cont)

So I’m a 26 year old guy, been working at a credit rating agency (think Moody’s/s&p) for four years and I’ve been interviewing for jobs and it seems like I’m only getting credit risk offers, and I really don’t want to do that. Do people think a FT MBA is a good option for me. I don’t really know what I wanna do but I’m thinking I should be able to double my salary (make 90k now). I currently have 150k saved up and tbh I’m super depressed at my job so I’m thinking an mba can help, any advice?
So I have been casually interviewing and got a very intriguing offer today. However, my current employer had just filed for my PERM a couple of weeks back. Any suggestions on how to proceed? Hey everyone. I’m currently working in public interest & making about 60k. My job gives me retirement & health insurance. I’m also in the loan forgiveness program. An opportunity to go into private law for 60-70k WITHOUT insurance or retirement has arisen. It’s potentially a partnership track & I was told that it could be “worthwhile for me to take a risk” and go into private. I wanted to gauge what those in private practice thought. It’s a small firm. Would the switch be worth it overall?
