You should take time to feel better. Jobs are replaceable, your position can be filled again however you aren’t replaceable! Take your time worry about work when you get back there
As someone else said, if Covid has taught us anything, it’s we don’t go to work sick anymore, the days of going to work with sore throats, bronchitis and flu are over, don’t be a spreader.
There's a lot of flu going around, so your colleagues might be fairly understanding. If you're sick, you're sick, and it's best not to go in. I've been fighting something off and I've felt lousy for the past few days, I'm hoping I'm not going to come down with something more intense. It really is all over. Anyway, feel better!
It happens. I had to call out on my first day starting at a warehouse job once. I felt SO BAD but I was super sick and the manager was, thankfully, very understanding and pushed my start date to the next week. Hopefully your manager will be just as understanding. No one can control when they get sick.

One of the silver linings of the last (has it really been 6 years?) is that we normalised calling in sick. No more coming in when you are contagious and going to make everyone else sick.
It still sucks to be short-handed. But it sucks even more to make everyone else sick. And we're short-handed by design, anyway.
Do your best to recover; rest, vitamins, cold and flu medicine, hydrate, and eat soothing meals, let your manager know know that you're doing everything to recover but you may need to call out in the morning, that you'll confirm whether or not you can come in by 7 am. Then rest. Depending on how the night goes, you'll know by 7 am if you can make it in.
