AFS 🐟, I had a recruiter contact me about an associate manager position and the position description calls for a minimum of 10 YOE--does that mean manager normally calls for more than that? I'm at 16 YOE and have been a manager for a while now, not interested in taking a step back. Thanks!
What should my salary range be? I’ve got 3 years of sysadmin experience and 3 years on a CIRT and am currently in discussion of being moved up into an associate manager role. I’m making 97k right now (DC Metro) but from looking around this is on the lower end given my experience. I’ve gotten offers for 20-30k more for analyst level roles at smaller companies but want to stay in something that’s on track for mgmt. Is a 30% raise too much to ask for or should I start taking these offers?
Just saw a coworker update her position to associate manager on LinkedIn after one year at consultant. Is this a promotion?

Hey everyone, I’m in advisory at a big 4 firm specializing in the healthcare industry for business process compliance. Just got a recruiting email for a startup on-demand health insurer firm for a revenue operations analyst role. The description seems intriguing, especially for my interest towards financial management and overall process efficiency. I was wondering if anyone has any insights on what this role would look like?

Thoughts on a Chief of Staff position at FAANG? Opportunity to get exposure to senior leadership or glorified admin assistant? Good pay? Is anyone else having a crisis of confidence? I've been out of work since mid March. I've always had a job since I was 16, so this is A BIT demoralizing. Recruiters message, I go through all the motions, and then radio silence every time. My book is damn solid (for a production person). Not sure how there hasn't been a connection yet. Am I doing something wrong with packaging myself or are companies just fishing for applicants and not actually hiring?
Thinking about switching from an SME position to account. Anyone have experience doing so? Did you have to take a cut in pay, or did they bump you up a few levels on the account side?
