I had my salary discussion with HR a week back and I have accepted their compensation. But still the offer letter is not released. When contacted the HR, he keep on saying that approval is in progress for the past 8 days. Does it take this much time is Amgen to release an offer letter ?

No, still the HR says the approval is pending and also for 15 other candidates. But he gives a verbal confirmation of my offer. Now the tentative DOJ is Jan 5th. Can I trust Amgen that they will release the offer letter ?
