2 offers on the table: Audit manager at Big 4, and compliance manager at a regional bank. Pay and benefits are better at bank, but afraid it will limit my future to only banking. Need advice
An opportunity sort of fell into my lap and wanted to get other thoughts. Internal audit manager role, 100% remote, 20% base increase plus better benefits. I work on a lot of audits on the tax side so am familiar with audit. M4 in big 4, not sold on staying in tax. Would I be qualified and is this a terrible idea?
The opportunity: A CD opening at an amazing agency in Europe (I’m American). The dilemma: I’m 8 weeks pregnant. The visa process is time consuming and expensive and I will likely go on maternity leave shortly after arriving. Do I tell them? Or just see how it goes and then spring it on them? File under: Things men never have to think about.

Retirement question: Currently 23 and will max my 401k ($19,500) but wondering if Roth or traditional is best here? Currently 24% tax bracket, so with a Roth I will be taxed upfront $4680, but if I go traditional I will additionally put $4680 to work in a traditional IRA (essentially either way I will be committing $24,180 to retirement yearly). In this case, would a Roth or traditional be a better choice? I feel more invested early to compound is important, but will taxes be exuberant in 40yrs?
Can someone please help me understand health insurance in US? I want to get a private health insurance disconnected from my employer to not be dependent on having a job.
