Does anyone know how our bonus is pro-rated if we leave before year end? Is it 0 or is some portion of it and if so how is it calculated?

Bonus based on last rating. Prorated based on no of days you were employed from Jan 1 until notice / 365.

This is based on memory, but compensation FAQ has the official answer

This was my exp leaving two years ago as well

They changed the policy on bonus payouts last year (they only mentioned it to the folks who got the buyout package; there wasn’t a broader email). The new policy is on the Global Comp FAQ but basically seems to imply that your bonus is prorated to last day of *client* work.
That being said, several people I know got paid a prorated bonus up to the date their search started even through they hadn’t been on client facing work.

funny

Interesting, if that’s true the policy seems to incentivize declaring search while on an active study, disrupting client service.

Imagine if you’re beached for a month and want to leave, would make sense to get staffed, then declare after first day on study. Otherwise leaving money on the table

Does the current GSAP agreement say that if you intern at another consulting company it 100% certain that sponsorship is lost? Or does it say “may” impact sponsorship?

I’m reading a GSAP letter from 2018 and in this version it says “may impact”

If you are feeling anxious and depressed these days, just know that you are not alone.

Please put a note and I would love to pray for you. God bless you all!

Hi Fishes,

I was offered RSUs for the first time as part of my compensation. I think I understand the concept as such but there are a few intricacies I was looking to clarify. Could anyone let me know if my grant date is 9th nov, 2022 and vesting period is 1 year, will I get RSUs allotted at the price of stock on grant date or vest date (in this case 9th nov, 2023)? Happy to connect in DMs as well

Thank you for your time!

Advice: my firm incentivized associates to get licensed in fed courts - 4 fed courts for a 5k raise. They also covered the admission fee. I just accepted an offer with another firm and will be putting in my 2 weeks notice tomorrow. Is it wrong to submit an expense report for the charges I incurred related to the fed court admission fees? I didn’t plan on moving to another firm; the new firm sought me out and made me an offer - the process happened so fast. I want to be professional about this.
