Hello Team,

I am an SAP EWM consultant within the S&C division, and my current fixed CTC stands at 35.5 LPA, following a recent 3% increment. I am currently awaiting an offer from a product-based company for a Business Analyst role, which proposes a fixed compensation of 42.6 LPA along with a 10% variable component. I would appreciate your professional opinion on the advisability of this career transition.

Organisation name would be the deciding factor here since there is not much difference in compensation.

Agree that S&C is a dead division, and not for the long term. But growth and learning is super limited in product based. Depending on what stage you are in your career and life, you can decide.

Do tech companies like FAANG hire strategy consultants? Starting at an MBB/T2 next year and curious if tech companies leverage consultants as much as other industries. Part of me wonders if they are in such high growth right now that consultants can’t add as much value, thus maybe a smaller presence. Thoughts?
