I joined CGI recently and I am not allocated to any project yet. I am afraid of my job being stable.

Can anyone please confirm if CGI removes people upon joining if they don't get any project.

My application for an engagement financial analyst at Deloitte got rejected within a few hours despite having a good gpa(3.95 and graduated in the spring) and some work experience. Does anyone have some tips?

I have got my retention proposal for 23.5 LPA at my current company.

Do you still implement reference checks (on top of background checks)? I’m not convinced of the value add to the selection process and it takes a lot of time and resources

Finally hit my breaking point. Been nothing but irritable & pissed off these past few weeks. Coach asked me on Friday when I’ll be taking time off & I just broke down. I’m a top performer & a workhorse. I’ve put so much effort into making sure my team is okay I forgot about myself. Now I am buried in work, performance is dropping & I can’t stop crying randomly. I kept telling people I am drowning but no one was listening. Coach is leaning to tell everyone to backoff thankfully.

Some recruiter in Accenture lined me up for an interview for a role which was not in my skillset ( by saying that this is just an evaluation exercise and they will map me to the right role) and obviously I got rejected. Now I see that I am not eligible to apply the role which I was targeting for the next 6 months. Any idea how can I get this escalated so that the recruiter ( Accenture employee) should at least be careful in future before fooling a noob like me?
