If your long term plan is to be an oracle consultant, then yes. OIC along with oracle fusion financials/HCM is a must have, apart from strong DB fundamentals.

Usually you’ll have OIC team, reporting teams, conversion teams and integration teams. Working across OIC and integration teams will make you an invaluable teammate as every project has these.
