My HR rep told me that to apply for your CPA license in MA you only need 1 year of work experience, not 2009 billable hours. Didn't sound right- can anyone confirm/deny?

Told a friend of mine in tech I was considering moving to BCG. He asked me if I would have to move to Boston.

I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."

Finally decided to prepare for UPSC civil services. I'm starting bit late at the age of 26 but hopefully would be able to fulfill my dream. I have been aspiring it for long but kept on doing job and giving excuses that I don't have time.
