I found a lot of help through this website called Eldercare Locator. It has local resources for assisting with aging relatives, and I found things in my community that I had never even heard of. I'm sorry for what you're going through, I've definitely been there and it's really tough.
Fortunate that my parents don’t need help from me, truthfully, I’d be very hard pressed to provide any, and I hate that. There are things you can do. Start doing research for them and find anything and everything they can qualify for. Prescription assistance, Medicare/Medicaid, MSPs, local or community programs. Use everything you can get, no rewards for struggling.
This is a really tough place to be, and I empathise with you. You'll find something soon. And maybe since your situation is a little pressed on time, you could for a more low stakes job that will still give you the benefits, and then you can always quit that when you find something more in your alley. You've gotta do what you gotta do I guess.
If they’re not already set up with Medicare, perhaps you can help them navigate that process — like selecting doctors, organizing their medical records, helping with follow-up care.
You may not be able to help via providing insurance or money, but providing your time and cognitive and physical support will be helpful.
I hope you find a job you like soon, too.
