How often do recruiters actually have over 100 applicants for their job listing? I always see new listings on LinkedIn posted 2 hours ago and they already somehow have 100! And not even Easy Apply!!

It happens more than you’d think, especially for remote or entry-level roles, which can hit 100+ applicants in an hour. Also, LinkedIn counts completed applications, not just clicks, so the interest is real. Some of that is because recruiters can see all applicants across different platforms, not just LinkedIn.

It actually does happen. When I was in recruiting and we used Linked in, depending on the role we would quickly get applicants I always though those numbers couldn't be real but turns out they are.

Hi Friends,

I have total 11 years of experience in IT (Enterprise applications:Oracle Weblogic) and 4 years in DevOps, Git, Google Cloud, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes. Currently working with Accenture India. I have been trying for almost a month in LinkedIn (applying for jobs as directly messaging recruiters) for opportunities in London, however not getting any positive response/interview calls.

If anyone working in UK can refer me in their organization, would be really helpful
