When is it appropriate to follow up after an interview for a lateral position? Had a screener call 2 weeks ago and then an interview with the partner + senior associate last Thursday where it was mentioned that they would “likely” want me to meet more people. I’m getting anxious but don’t want to bug them!

First year here: if a plaintiff’s complaints consistently has the number of their paragraphs wrong (ie paragraph 10 followed by paragraph 15), should I answer the complaint with “sic” and correct it or should my answer use the same numbers as Plaintiff’s?

Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary. Offer 1 - staff revenue accountant so reading contracts, speaking with the sales team and legal team, a lot of work at the end of the months to close books and reconcile transactions to make sure we are ASC 606 compliant. This track usually leads to director of revenue. Offer 2 - internal audit staff so SOX and compliance projects.

Now I got married and moved to UK , plus we have got a baby in 2019 so now I am looking for a job in UK having 3 years of career break. Although, I am getting CIPD lvl 7 diploma this year. Currently I'm in a .net and sql server maintenance and operations project at a service company. I want to switch to a full stack developer position in a good product company. Besides honing my DSA, for skills, should I focus on MERN stack or pure .net development? I'm already familiar with MERN stack and .net core and have made small projects. I am writing this message besides the staff group of EY GDS. Specifically Staff -1 at assurance level. I would request everyone to spare few minutes and read it -

Wanted to bring out that staff-1's are paid peanuts (3.33L CTC) please don't expect them to slog 12-13 hours. They don't have enough motivation or incentives to work that long. Seniors,AM's and Managers should be more kind and explain the work to them clearly rather than making last minute changes.

Appeared for an interview in TCS on 7th april and after that no mail communication, only phone calls to upload documents. Uploaded documents and it is showing in verified stage. Status in portal still showing "Resume Shortlisted", what is that mean??
