I am a fresher looking to break into cybersecurity, recently graduated in Computer Science Engineering specialization in Cybersecurity, based in Hyderabad. I’ve a solid foundation in computer systems, network security, and information protection, and have done a practical hands-on workshop and completed CEH program from EC council. Now I’m excited and looking forward to contribute my skills to a dynamic team in the cybersecurity field.

Anyone feeling quite unmotivated with work? Unsure if this is due to the job or because I haven’t seen my team in 11 months / lockdown fatigue

I’ve recently left my job (unhappy with it) and am applying for new work. I have a few irons in the fire at the moment. I’m curious about a trend I am seeing: I like to think I’ve well documented my abilities and functions in my CV, as well as my portfolio. I’ve noticed that for some of these jobs that I can check every single box in the job description, I won’t even get an interview. I’m wondering if many of these jobs are posted for internal hires, but some stay open for weeks. What gives?
