I am wondering because there might be benefits in interrupt and facilitate the conversations towards where you want it to go.
I changed jobs and have a 401k with fidelity. Is it worth rolling it over into my traditional and Roth IRAs or should I just leave it as is? Planning to research this more, but anything I should be aware of?
What happens to your 401k when you leave without it being fully vested? I left my company without it being fully vested and looks the same to me. I didn't have it transfer over or anything. Just sitting in the original fidelity account. When does it get adjusted? Or did I luck out by keeping it in the original account?

How are the L3Harris benefits? I read something about unlimited PTO, but in reality it’s like 4 weeks. How’s the 401k match? Is it common to have a 9/80 schedule? I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn...hence all the questions. :-)

I’m in my mid 20s and starting to save for a condo/house in the next 3-4 years and live in the DMV. I currently have ~$30k in my “house fund” and contribute $3.5k a month after 401k and Roth IRA contributions. As a first time homeowner is it a good idea to put down a smaller down payment with an FHA to maybe reach my goal of being a homeowner sooner? Or should I wait to be able to put down 20%?
I feel like this is a dumb question but is it possible to over contribute to your 401k? Or would payroll stop when you’ve hit the limit?
Anyone have any advice on whether it’s better to roll over a 401k to a Roth IRA or a new company’s 401k when leaving a company?

It is about 17% of our annual gross income but more like 35% of our net income, my partner and I both max out our 401k contributions and are able to still save a little every month but that will be tricky when we have kids. For context, we bought right before the pandemic, minimal updates needed, house is in Fairfax county.
How much of a stigma do you think ADHD meds or other prescribed drugs have? I'm not asking about morals or ethics. I fully believe in and am supportive of mental healthcare as well as other healthcare. I'm just wondering real world practical negatives of prescribed meds. Have any of you experienced issues? Do you wish you could get off of them? Context is that I'm an adult male that has made it so far without them. But I started to realize that I may have ADHD a couple of years ago.

Joining the ranks of those being laid off due to Covid, I’m now looking to go freelance. The industry I’m working towards is generally male dominated so it’s not too surprising but honestly I feel am a bit bothered by it. It’s not that there is any bad or that they make me unfomfortable but it still feels like I’m sticking out quite a bit. Anyway of overcoming this imposter syndrome like feeling?
