Who is hiring?
I got a call from HR and offer discussion was over couple of weeks back and still waiting for them to send me final mail to release offer. May I know if they take this much time to release offer, when I did a follow up call after 10 days they said they are waiting for some approval to release offer.
Any ideas i still have chances to get offer? BNY Mellon

B2B sales (I do Packaging) primarily favor the young and attractive. Also car sales is a black mark against you as a salesman.
Thanks for your input. Yes I have been down this road 16 years ago and concurred that. I just do not get it. I am not a typical Car salesperson. I too do not like car salesmen, but I am not that guy. That's why I am looking for change.
It’s tough to unlearn 30 years of experience, but try to look on the positive side…. Would you ever consider trying to help implement dealership software or sell some kind of ancillary dealership product? There’s a lot of companies out there who would love your experience.
Thank you for your input, but I just get by using the computer & most companies expect you to know everything. Also it it seem like none like to train you anymore.

1st, thank you for responding.That's part of my difficulty, I am not sure. I know I do not want to be in outside sales ( driving around). Which would include B2B positions. I want some kind of product sales like maybe appliances?

I just wanted more experiences for my hopefully my last position, prior to hopefully retiring in the next 10 yrs..
