Got an offer for a Strategy Analyst position at a non-profit. I'm really excited about the role/company but they have bad glassdoor reviews (though most are from non relevant positions). Should I risk it for the "dream role"? I have 2 YOE and I'm not enjoying consulting at my current company (hate traveling, don't like the work, bad managers, no wlb)
Anyone know if EYP is hiring and can give a referral? Looking for strategy analyst role EY-Parthenon
My boyfriend just graduated magna cum laude from undergrad and was looking at a Deloitte strategy analyst role. Would anyone be willing to refer him?
D 🐠- friend’s little brother has a case interview for the Strategy Analyst role. He’s just out of college. Any tips for him? What’s the format?
Received an offer for digital strategy analyst at a media company. Reports to EVP. Dream is to exit into M&E digital strategy so this lines up perfectly. On the other hand, I’m also up for early promo to senior associate (feeling 50/50 about my case) and am currently on a media project rn (don’t want to burn the bridge). Offer is looking for someone to start ASAP...would it look bad to take an offer so close to year end? ~1.5 YOE
Hi everyone, I started as a strategy analyst 4 months ago and things have been going really well. Just had a recruiter reach out on LinkedIn wanting to place me in a strategy and ops role at a tech company... I am not interested in leaving my firm, but am curious to see my options. How do you guys play it when you get these? Just agree and say you would love to hear more? Would that look bad if it got back to your employer? Not sure what is normal
How much are Accenture strategy folks paid out of campus for the role of strategy analyst? What’s the lock in for the bonus? Asking for a friend 😝
Currently have 2.5 yoe. Saw a role for ‘strategy analyst’ at my dream firm that says 1-2 years of experience minimum. Would this be a backwards move?
Anyone have any recruiting or job experience with NBA Team Strategy Analyst? This is very close to a dream exit opp for me and would love to hear about any prior experiences in regards to interviews, day to day responsibilities, expected comp. etc. Thanks in advance!
How is Yelp's business operations and strategy analyst position? I am surprised theyre even hiring tbh
Seeking advice on the next move: 1.5 YOE as Strategy Analyst + 1.5 YOE as a BD/Partnerships Associate in healthtech. What are realistic “growth” roles for someone with my background and experience? Thanks! As context: I left consulting bc I didn’t enjoy my firm’s work structure - multi-staffed model w/ IB hrs; seeking to leave existing role due to issues with leadership + limited growth opportunities. Understand environment right now is not good, but trying to understand what is logical for me
DELOITTE USDC??? Hi so I got an offer to interview for a strategy analyst position at a deloitte USDC. Does anyone know if interviews here for a new grad are easier than core consulting for this position, or even what a case interview would look like for USDC??? any insight would be appreciated
Senior in college stuck between three very different offers. One would be a strategy analyst role at a consulting firm, the second would be an in-house implementation/consultant role at Salesforce, and the last would be a marketing/sales role at Google. Which would you choose if you had the choice? I ultimately want to end up in Tech, but I’m always hearing that going into consulting first would open a ton of doors for exit opportunities.
Found a great opp for folks looking to exit into RE strategy work in sunny LA https://cbre.referrals.selectminds.com/jobs/senior-client-strategy-analyst-77548
What’s it like to work at Salesforce in a strategy analyst role? Anyone willing to talk about their experience?
I'm a senior in college. I just got invited to interview for the Strategy Analyst position at Deloitte in their GPS practice (I go to a school in DC), but I never filled out the application lol. How does federal compare to commercial in terms of pay, wlb, prestige, etc? I would appreciate any and all advice, as I am new to this. I have an offer right now with EY for PMO business consulting, but looking for other opportunities too.
Anyone interview with Optiv in Denver? Have an interview for a strategy analyst role and am trying figure out what to expect. Not much on Glassdoor as I believe this is a new team. CSO and director of strat. are ex- BCG/McKinsey so assuming it will be case based.
2nd year cleared cloud strategy analyst looking to jump over to another firm. Is anyone hiring?
How do MBAs feel about doing one year consulting then a year in industry strategy analyst role vs 2 years consulting?
What’s the salary range for a corporate strategy analyst role for FAANG in LA? This would be a mid-Sr level position reporting directly to corporate strategy VP
I applied for a Strategy Analyst role at a FANG-type company and very surprisingly got a second interview. Where can I find help on how to handle Strategy interviews/case studies?
Interviewing with ex-MBB execs for a corporate strategy analyst role. I suspect they will gauge my problem-solving skills but a case interview is not expected. Thoughts on what to expect/how to tackle
Tech 🐟 :Have an interview tomorrow for a Pre-sales Solutions Consultant at a great tech company. I wanted to move to a more sales focused role. Any tips?
Anyone lateralled, either internally or externally, from a M&A group to a coverage role? Thoughts?
I have got two offers guys : 1. Kpmg - consultant - 17 fixed 2. Nagarro - team lead - 22 fixed Which company to join , can kpmg negotiate and make it 22l? YOE - 7 Role - PMO Pleas help
Was contacted by a recruiter from West Monroe Partners, M&A role. I haven't ever heard of this firm before. Any insights? Positive/Negative experiences? Glassdoor etc paints a pretty vanilla picture...
Bummed out I spoke too much about my passion for film/tv spots in my JR CW position interview. I don’t think the CD thinks I’m a good fit for the role now bc the agency works primarily on social.
Was recently dinged from Linkedin but made it to onsite and recruiter thinks that I might be a good fit for other roles. Unfortunately she can’t refer. Can anyone help with a referral from Linkedin?
When you’re negotiating for an industry job, do you negotiate with recruiter or directly with hiring manager? Also, do you negotiate over phone or email?
Hey all , whats the difference between Partner enablement manager vs partner development manager vs partner success manager vs partner sales manager at AWS? They almost sound the same to me. And what are the exit opps and future for such positions? Does anyone know what the equivalent positions would be at Azure? Thank you!
About to start a new job but have a pre-planned 2.5 week vacation for end on September. Feeling a bit uneasy about taking such a long break so early into a new position.... will they think I’m lazy and immediately get a red flag? I know it’s long but I haven’t taken vaca all year!
Someone in my group just jumped from Accenture as a senior analyst to Deloitte as a SC. I’m currently a C at Accenture but really tempted to make the jump and reach for SC or M. I know I’ll get paid more and do the same shit. Currently at 120k and I spoke to a SC at Deloitte that has the same position and they make 160k. I like the people here and the culture here though. But at the same time I want my next move to be out of consulting. Still worth it to make the move?
If I apply to a position on StaffIt, does the person who posted it get an automated notification? Or does it have to flow through my Resource Manager?
Consulting manager with 8 YOE, is it realistic to join as a director for an industry job? Another manager with 20 YOE joined as a director and I wonder if YOE plays a role.
How do people in your company view your digital / agency group (I.e. Deloitte digital, McKinsey digital, Accenture interactive)? I’d say at Accenture, interactive is highly respected and given a lot of attention. Many of our big acquisitions have been in this area as well as some of our coolest projects and credentials. Also as opposed to Accenture strategy where it might be someone’s 5th choice to go to, interactive tends to be people’s first choice given our mkt position
Applied to McK via a referral. Will I hear back if I’m not selected for an interview, or do you only get contacted if you’re moving forward?
Had a 3rd round interview with PwC (Partner) and they said they would either want to have another interview with a team member or will “move forward with next steps”. This was last week and recruiter hasn’t gotten back to me yet. Manager position. What does this mean? Bad news? Trying to not be disappointed yet 😭
Any US-based Wipro Digital 🐠 here who would be willing to chat about the culture there? I’ve been approached about a partner role and would like some unfiltered insights.
PTO - Alhumdulillah
What will the first week lessons look like for you in a chemistry class after the pandemic ?

New AWMA... curious to know what a reasonable salary expectation is and what the growth looks like for an associate within a growing ensemble. For context, background is more analytical, taking CAIA level 2 in a couple weeks, then plan on pursuing CFA.
Like many of us, I have been WFH for almost two years now (and will continue for the foreseeable future). I use a standing desk and split time between standing and sitting, but my current chair just isn’t cutting it anymore. Being an avid golfer, I feel that my puffy, soft +$300 La-Z-Boy office chair that I purchased just year ago is doing more damage to my back than good. Looking for some recommendations on awesome ergonomic office chairs. Cheers!
Going from Big4 to MBB, should I share which firm I’m going to as part of the separation process? Or keep it on the DL? D at a B4 for context and not looking to burn bridges, if possible.
Is Herman Miller really worth $1k? Trying to justify it to myself… WFH all day every day so think a nice chair would be cool, but having trouble stomaching the cost
Have a friend who received a job offer w a small firm. Great benefits and seems like incredible role w great potential. Found out that during the shutdown last year they filed chapter 11- thoughts?
Can we get these people to waive their right to priority COVID treatment? If they’re actively going out saying give me covid or freedom they obviously care less about covid than those staying safe
Discussion post: I feel almost all consulting firms are the same. Mbb, big 4 etc. if you are paid enough there is probably less wlb. If there is good wlb there is not much money. Can you single out a company that you can confidently say pays very well and also has good wlb and also has good opportunities etc.?
I can’t believe I’m posting this my friends. Almost a year ago, I was in such a dark place that I danced around the idea of self harm and taking my life during the peak of COVID. I told myself (as a SC) that I’d focus all my efforts entirely on becoming M and that having this goal would help me. I was just told moments ago that I’ve been promoted. I am so happy.
H1b extension filed but have to leave country due to medical emergency. Was informed that I cannot use my leave, so it will be upaid LOA from here to whatever time it takes to get approval. 😐
Unvaccinated people need to stop with the “but if you’re vaccinated why do you care” argument. Unvaccinated people are akin to drunk drivers. Even if I am sober and wearing my seatbelt, a drunk driver could still cause serious harm to me, my family, and those I care about. An unvaccinated person has a higher likelihood of catching and spreading Covid to others because they are cowards who care only about themselves. You are harming other people.
Can Covid be sexually transmitted?
Can anyone recommend a psychiatrist? Been in a funk for some time and I’m getting sick of it...although I’m sure it’s work related...
Hi D&A 🐟, I’ve been thinking of doing a career pivot from cyber security to data science. My current role is very technical and have experience with Python, PowerShell, AWS (SAA cert), Azure (Security Engineer cert in progress), and a bunch of other cyber security related technical skills. I have experience doing basic data analysis but not at the level of a data scientist. What would you recommend I do to gain these data scientist skills? I think the end goal would be to transition from cybe
Hi all! My mother in law got scammed by a con artist from the UK online and lost $7K (damn you Facebook!) Her status in the US is currently complicated and she doesn’t have a green card(tho she’s working on it), my wife(her daughter) is American. I want to report this to the FBI’s elder fraud department but I don’t want to complicate her situation even more. Does anyone know if criminal stuff like this and immigration related things are separated?
