Network like hell and try to get referrals. Keep a simple, one-page resume (check to make sure it's ATS compatible) and tailor it to each position. Dont' be surprised if 80% of employers just don't respond at all.

Don't get discouraged. It's easier said than done, but the job search is pretty demoralizing these days. Don't take it personal, don't let it cause you to spiral. Understand that everybody is having a tough time and it's not about you, it's the job market right now.

Start by modernizing your resume and LinkedIn profile to highlight accomplishments. It might be overkill but customizing your resume based on the job's descriptions really help.
Networking is also very crucial, so if you have any contacts, it's best to reach out to them now.
But also remember to give yourself grace during this time because it is a tough market and it's hard not to be discouraged.

Is it a good idea to accept LinkedIn invites from people you don't know or don't send any type of note along with their invite? I'm all for networking, but shouldn't a stranger send a note saying why they want to connect with you? (i.e. we work in the same industry and thought it might be good to connect?)

I have not been diagnosed with ADHD. I definitely fit some of the characteristics that go unnoticed in females. The good news is if i do have ADHD, it makes me quite good at my job as I’m very flexible and can provide positive energy to my patients. Anyway, my boss has told me I have ADHD multiple times. It seems rude when she says it, and she follows it up with “I say that because I love you” which i feel is so unprofessional all around. Anyone have guidance on how to handle this?
