Hi all, trying to go from a BDR to a Biz/Financial Analyst (almost got my masters in finance). Just got hired at another BDR role and I’ve been applying for business analyst roles. Should I take it or keep waiting?

Hello, I have a final interview for a company on Wednesday. The position is for a programmer analyst. They mentioned I would have to take a logical test when I arrive. Has anyone had experience with this? Is this a basic logical test or a specific programming logical test? Thank you.

Hello! Has anyone here moved from the Life Science/Medical field to Consulting? Finished my MD last year and have 4+ years of research experience. Have been applying broadly to consulting firms (most with referrals) but I'm only getting rejections. Really want to move into consulting so any help would be appreciated! I don't mind starting off as an analyst or entry level job and make my way up.

Tips for ramping up technicals as an associate for lateraling? My skills are fine for new analyst interviews but I have very limited live deal experience and so I don't think my corporate finance exposure has improved much here.

I am currently interviewing for Business Analyst role for Amazon, cleared 1st round which lasted for an hour. They have asked me to confirm availability for a full day. Can you please help me with what kind of interview rounds i can expect?

I am really fed up of my company and want to leave it at the earliest. Even though my notice period is 1 month, I cannot put down paper without an offer. Got few interviews and went well, but not getting further calls. I am a business analyst with 2.9 years of experience in BFSI. Can somebody help me 🙏 to get out of this situation.

Looking for advice: A manager referred me to a senior knowledge analyst role at BCG and a recruiter reached out to schedule a first round interview but after rescheduling twice has ghosted me since November:( I was really interested in the opportunity and I’m somewhat bummed that she won’t respond back to any emails (2). The referring manger said she’d look into it but is going on mat leave and has been busy. Not sure what to do next without being annoying?

Anyone interview at TrueCar that might want to give their perspective on the interview process? Interviewing for product analyst role

Does it make sense to jump to another firm for a 6K-8K increase in base? Currently making 82.8K as an analyst and was offered a position that’s a level above my current one however the new base is 88K. I think I could get it up to 90K but that’s as far as it’ll go. I’ve been applying for months and this seems like it’s pretty much my last option and I’m desperate to leave my current role but I don’t want to make the wrong decision. 2.5 YOE.

I currently have an offer for an accounting position that has a great pay increase from my current position but I’m also in the middle of interviewing and have one last round with another company for a financial analyst position that I would prefer over accounting. However the final rounds won’t be until first week of January due to the holidays. Could anyone give me advice on what to do? The pay for the second position would be slightly higher than my current offer.
