How do promotions work in your company? (Include your industry if you want).
Are there regular title bumps based on tenure and work quality? Can you only be promoted by applying for open roles? Is your big on creative hierarchy and reporting structure by letting people become managers and mentors to more junior people? (Jr. reporting to sr. reporting to ACD reporting to CD etc?)

Been asked to present my current client’s plan and PCA in second interview for a role. Am I being over cautious by not feeling comfortable with this?

Was in the interview process for 4 firms, all of which conducted 3-4 interviews. 1 extended an offer, reached out to the other 3 to pass, then the remaining 3 decided to give offers. Wtf.

I am currently an Assistant Manager for my companies Operations department. I have been in the role since Feb 2018, initially as a Supervisor, and in the beginning of 2021 got promoted to Assistant Manager. Prior to this role I worked as a claim adjuster since the beginning of 2009. I feel my current comp for my role is underpaying me ($80k CAD), but wanted to ask here to get perspective.

I just found out that a new person at work that has been with us at the hospital for about 2 months max is making more than I am by quite a bit. This person has about 19 years of retail experience and can only work 2 shifts with us. I have about 7 years of of hospital experience all at the same place and I’m able to cover any shift in our pharmacy, super user for all of our systems, trained in our PN iv room, oncology iv room and our main iv room, also RIVA system admin. Do you think it’s fair?

I am in the last phase of the hiring process to switch jobs (refrence check). I'm changing industry and going to a situation with higher pay and more positive work environment . So I should be getting a job offer early next week, however I will probably be on vacation when this happens.
