Thoughts on FP&A? I’m currently a senior tax accountant and got asked to the last round of interviews for a senior FP&A position (narrowed down to 2 people). I feel like I’ll get it as I have friends at this company in accounting who put in recommendations for me. Only thing holding me back is I made manager this week and overall like the flexibility of PA, hate busy season though.
I am a senior tax associate and I am interviewing for an advisory role at a different firm. Any advice on what they may ask?

I’m an intern, and IF I get an offer I want it to be in a different city. I mentioned this to the partner when I interviewed, and just want to make sure I’ve got my bases covered. How/when do I (cont)
Expats working in US: How did you get your H1B? Not enough awards for O-1, and HR/Recruiting always suggests the quickest visa option, but time spent on it won’t work towards applying for PR/greencard
Anyone move from a BA role to a PM role?? How was the transition?? What are the challenges you faced?? What were the interview questions??
Is it a thing to do handwritten thank you notes for remote interviews? Or is it strange to send them in the mail?
Had an interview that went really well but didn’t get the job. Recruiter told me CD said I was all these great things, but didn’t have enough "creative wildness". It’s really getting me down...
Have a 2nd interview with an agency where I am being asked to prepare a 10-15min presentation for the account team. What topics would u not want/want to hear about if u were them?
I interviewed with the client and it has been a couple of weeks since I’ve heard from the hiring manager (3 weeks since 2nd interview). I’ve already informed my engagement team. I was told that they would inform me if there was a decision made and I’ve known previously that the offering process at this company can take up to a month. Should I reach out again for status update or wait to hear back from hiring manager?
Chances of getting an offer if going into a final onsite interview after three phone interviews? Is having more rounds of interviews more promising of an offer?
My friend is graduating college with a 2.8 GPA. Trying to help with his job search--what's a good way to damage control in interviews?
Had final rounds last monday and radio silence since. How often do I follow up? Do I ever reach out to hiring manager directly if recruiter isnt answering? All I have asked for is a timeline on when I will hear back. I burned a PTO day for the first round of interviews. The very least I deserve is a response to my emails
Had an interview at an external firm. The following week had another interview at the same company but different role. I bumped into the other hiring manger when i was with this hiring manager😬
Thoughts on the importance of visiting B schools prior to applying? Does it really make an impact on how they view you? I applied to a few schools a couple days before the deadline...
I got invitation to interview for McK (Associate - Exp Hire) back in March for this month, but my recruiter hasn’t responded and I still don’t have a set date yet. I know recruiting has been iffy for experienced hires. I’ve already reached out twice - anyone have any recommendations on what I should do?
How is the Denver Market for a first year audit manager in terms of industry exit opportunities? Would the best route be applying through a recruiter?
PwC Advisory, been at the firm for just over a year and a small boutique firm contacted me, I think they would be a great culture fit, great SLT, and comparable salary. Anyone leave this early?
Anyone ever deal with conflicting office politics between the partners in your office and the firm? I feel like I'm getting opposite requirements from the firm (HQ in another state) and the partners in my office. I also know that the partners have fired people without the approval and against the wishes of HR. The firm was pissed but accepted it. I'm scared to follow the firm's rules and also get fired, but I also agree with the firm more than the partners (this is mainly about stopping WFH).
Does anyone know inside scoop about TBWA — working there, people, culture, benefits, in addition to what’s posted on Glassdoor?

Since WFH started, we’ve had meetings every morning for an hour for a “team update”. We have to go around and tell our managers what we are doing for the day. Are we the only one?😑 they seem so pointless
I shared on the women’s bowl: I have an MD who said “he must want to sleep with you!” When a client responded really well to me. And then a month later the MD asked if I was early pregnancy when I peed 3x during a 1 hr meeting (I’m not, I just had to pee). This is 2020. With everything he sees and knows, he is 💯 comfortable with this.
