Hello, I have an interview for a risk audit associate at the tampa acceleration center PwC. I have heard mixed things about the acceleration center and was wondering if any one could clarify. Is the risk audit associate consider an associate or specialist? And is pay similar to associate and follows the same promotion pattern, 3 years to senior then so on. I understand the acceleration center is bad but I'm just trying to understand what I applied for and will be interviewing for. Thanks!
Actively applying for new experienced audit Associate positions at Mid-sized public firms. Currently working in the Big 4 and covid has really shown the firm’s true colors—they don’t give a sh*t about the employees. Been looking at CBIZ and Marcum.. any other suggestions? Located in Boston/Providence area. Thanks 🙏🏼
Got a referral to PwC from a friend for a experienced audit associate position in a sector I am interested in that I can’t get into at my current firm and am waiting to hear back. Currently an A1 about to be an A2 at another big 4 and already have the CPA passed. After some thought I think I would be much more interested in the CMAAS group from my research. If I get the interview, would it be bad to tell the recruiter this and what are the chances of it working out?

So, a month ago I was offered a data engineer position at a fintech firm. I was going to accept it. The interview process had taken over a month. Then, at the last minute, an old coworker/friend - who is a manager at FAANG now - randomly offered me a data engineer __contractor__ position at a FAANG. The rate was really good - more than the fintech company was offering as annual salary. Rate was 160/HR and fintech was 275K TC. The benefits are ok - it’s a W2 contractor. But I’m thinking of...
How does one break into a big agency from a small one? I am confident I can hang creatively at a big shop, but I have a CD title with no direct reports. This always comes up in interviews and I think it’s killing my chances. I lead projects, but I don’t lead a consistent “team” of writers because we don’t have one (I’m a copy-focused CD). I almost wish I could go back to being an ACD and grow in a bigger agency from there. I feel stuck.

My current firm didn’t require a case interview. Would like to leave soon, but want to have my ducks in a row. How can I best prepare for Big 4 and MBB interviews? How did you all do it?

How do y’all quiet the noise in your head that’s telling yourself “they’re only interviewing me to check off the diversity box”? Heading into another round for a VP role that I feel unqualified for. It’s hard to not think this is the classic Rooney Rule at play. Would love any tips.
I join a firm next week, another recruiter reached out to me today for a similar role but paying 10% extra. This new process will take at least a month. Should I cancel my interview or go for it ? Both firms have an equal standing in terms of the brand !
