Has Bain London started rolling out interviews for Associate Consultant (Experienced hire)?

I have not heard for a long time so wanted to check.

Looking for case partners for BCG interview in 2 weeks. I’m interviewing as experienced hire for Consultant role. Let me know if anyone’s interested.

Looking for advice…I currently make $85k + 35% bonus. I’m interviewing for a job that I now know pays $70k + 15% bonus. Obviously that’s a steep cut. The only reasons I’m still interested are that it’s in crypto operations which I’d like to transition to, and it’s back on the east coast closer to family. We want our daughter growing up with them around. Any thoughts on negotiating a higher salary? Or, any experiences on taking a pay cut and what went into your decision to do so? Thanks!

Any suggestions on which topics to concentrate more on ,

Job opportunity (mgr title, 4-6 yr exp needed) in Internal Audit (w/ data analytics exposure) at one of the largest private companies in Chicago. Currently scheduling “on sites” for a S&O role in CA. My referrer said they can hire as L5 or L6. Would like to land in the L6 bucket as I’ve heard 5 --> 6 is one of the more challenging promotions.

I’m looking for info on what the real difference is in responsibilities (manager vs IC, cross functional vs focused, etc) so I can focus on checking the L6 boxes during my interviews.

I’m also curious about whether this is something that I should just discuss with my recruiter directly?

Why has it been so dang hard to move from banking to a strategy role in my industry or expertise? I currently work at a small PI firm in Atlanta were EVERYTHING is settled presuit. If we’re unable to settle, then it’s referred to another firm for litigation. This whole process seems very atypical to me and the attorneys rarely touch a file until the first liability offer is received. The paralegals handle everything from intake to drafting the demands. The attorney briefly skims (does NOT read) the demand packages and signs. Is this ethical?? Anyone else work at a firm that is run this way??

Hello fishies, I have got an offer from S&P for 30LPA with 8.5 YOE . The designation is software engineer and the role is for production support. Is it a good offer or should I renegotiate.

I’m one of the only attorneys in my Texas firm that had electricity, internet, and water this week. I was warm and comfortable but still could not get any work done because things going on in the outside world are distracting. When I try to work, I feel like I can barely hold a thought in my mind before I get the “wait, what am I doing again?” feeling. I just want to know, I’m not the only one that struggled this week to do any work, right?

My adderall is not working at all today. I can’t get motivated and stay on task even though I have so much work to get done!

One of the things that my ADD coach helped me with was realizing that I wasn’t prioritizing activities that help me feel recharged. Between work and home responsibilities, I was just burnt out and overwhelmed.

So now when I start to get burned out I focus on reducing auditory overwhelm, getting outside, listen to music, get comfortable, read a fun book, etc.

As we’re heading into the weekend, what are some things you do to recharge and give yourself a break?

How do you manage keeping track of and responding to teams chats and emails in a timely manner? I have a hard time addressing chats when I am focused on something else, because I know it will completely derail me. But then I forgot to circle back to the chat when I’m done and I’ve recently been told that my response time is unacceptable and needs to improve, but I’m truly unsure how to improve.
