How high does L6 range typically go for Sr Program Manager roles? I am currently at ~250k TC and the position they were interviewing me for hand a max range of 200k TC. Is >300k TC possible?

It's appalling how bad new associate excel/ppt skills are. There needs to be a way of judging 'readiness' during the interview process.

Couple of days back I gave an Interview for AT&T. Interview went pretty well. It was for the ELK stack profile cum Data Analytics. Wanted to know how much should I ask if I get selected.

Total Experience: 11.3 yrs
Curretnt CTC: 21 LPA
Tech Stack: Python, API, SQL, Elastic Search, Kibana, Power BI, Excel Macros, Data Analytics

About to get promoted at PwC from Associate to Senior Associate (mgmt consulting). I interviewed at Deloitte for a Consultant position, but they’re potentially giving me an offer for BA. I’d essentially be holding out on the promo until next promo cycle. Usually, I’d understand hiring at a level below for higher levels but I feel like doing a 3rd year as a junior might not be the best decision. Should I push HR for Consultant level? How difficult is it to lateral to other areas of tax without prior experience in the area? (Ex: Income tax planning to estate planning, corporate tax to exec comp, or estate planning to controversy work, etc.) Assuming you have an LLM or a couple years of experience in your first tax area.
