Very rarely. There are maybe a few days per month where I'll have to work late. Most of the time, I'm done right at 5 PM. You should definitely be taking your lunch break. It's the only hour of the day you get to yourself - don't waste it sitting at your desk working!

That's really good to hear! I literally will never work overtime but my weakness is definitely sitting and working whilst having lunch. I need to get out of that habit
Sometimes we have some busy months and we’ll see a lot of overtime. I am with you about working through lunch. Just seems easier to keep plugging away instead of taking that break, but I’d probably feel a lot better if I just took it!

Absolutely, the break is there for a reason and I know I will feel better for taking it, but it is sometimes so hard to switch off!
There’s no such thing as overtime in my position. 50 hour work weeks are the standard. We also don’t clock in/out or get paid OT.
Contract? No?
