Anyone interested in a PwC referral?
Hi all, I just got a job offer at PwC for a senior consultant position. The salary is 30% above my total comp right now, but I’m just worried about the amount of work I will have to put in compared to my amazing work life balance now. Does anyone have any experience moving from industry to consulting? I need some advice on what to do. I’m still early in my career (1.4yoe) so I feel like I shouldn’t care too much about wlb, but at the same time, I don’t want my mental health to suffer either.
Hi need referral for few job postings at MS.

Were you laid off from all three jobs? People do end up in a toxic, unfair environment from time to time, but if it’s happened to you three times in a row I’d take some time do so some self reflection - in this case, you might actually be bad at your job. I’d think about what I can learn from these situations, how I could improve, and if I’m in the right line of work. If you weren’t performing well, your manager probably HAD to micromanage you…she could have been trying to help you improve your performance, and then you complained about it. Probably not a good move on your part.
For the next job, you’ll just have to say the company wasn’t a great fit for you, and maybe say something you are looking for in a new job that wasn’t present at the last company. You don’t need to say you were laid off for performance reasons. But don’t talk badly about previous companies, that never goes over well.
I’m not sure I’d say you were laid off from all 3 jobs. It sounds like the first one you quit, the second you were laid off, and the third you were let go/fired. It may make a difference if you are filing for unemployment.
