Would it be difficult to get a job in IA if most of my experience has been auditing private non-404 asset mgmt funds? I really enjoy process walkthroughs when I have them though. Also, does title matter that much in IA? I’m a manager now, but based on job descriptions it looks like I might have to go for a senior auditor role because audit manager roles generally call for 8+ years from what I’m seeing. Can title be negotiated?

I am extremely strong at getting names and numbers from clients. I am weak at taking it further and making the referral a client. Some tips/advice?

Got an offer for a cool startup for $120k + $30k bonus + equity ($~40k @ Series A valuation) — people are awesome and the role is a lot more responsibility (Senior Account Manager)/ potentially a jumping off point into something much better.

Guys, did anyone of you ever face a round where prior to the interview, you were conveyed that the round is going to be RRK+GCA by the recruiting team but it turned out to be multiple "Tell me about yourself.." questions?

I’m a designer in the planning/landscape architecture dept. of a CE firm. Extremely frustrated that after 4+ years and multiple asks, I’m not getting the in-field construction experience I’ve asked for. I know that my designs could be better if I could see how things are actually built but I get slapped in the face with “I need you in the office designing/drafting” or “there’s no budget to have you go out” and then sends an intern to inspect instead. I’m 5 yrs out of college. Any advice?
