Love a good catio, they'll love it! I just Googled "under door gap blocker" and found a ton of results on Amazon that seem like they'd fit the bill (although they're actually called "Door Draft Stoppers" 😂). Are you going to screen it in? That'd be my only recommendation. There are a ton of hawks where I live so I'd want that for my own peace of mind.
Will they have indoor space as well, or are you trying to do outdoor only? What if the weather is bad?

They will be fully outdoors but I’ll have a tower like this. When it rains I’ll cover the tower, when it’s hot I’ll make sure it’s shaded well. My family member isn’t a big fan of me bringing cat indoors

You’ll need some sort of net around the wall. There are some cat specific manufacturers for that kind of thing. I’ve seen cats clear 7 foot walls before.

Maybe I can add a privacy fence against the walls, and then a foam blocker or stopper against the door gap
I was going to suggest one of those door draft blockers that you can easily remove when you need to.
You can get some chicken wire for the bottom of the gate and then I’d also extend it over your fence/get a canopy to go over the whole thing. Cats can and will jump as I’ve learned the hard way with my own cat 🙃. They’ll treat the table like a jumping off base and parkour their way out
OMG what a great idea OP. I think putting up chicken wire or something like what the person above suggested would be a really great idea for that OP. This would be such a fun place for kittens to run around and play and also be able to get some sunlight.
