Junior biglaw partner here, I’m struggling with balancing the time needed to do BD (have a small book but not enough to sustain me fully but I want to grow it) and servicing other partners work (still have high hours requirement to hit). I have a CD that gets extremely flustered when you ask them for their opinion on a solution. For example after showing them multiple color pallets and CD not quite liking any of them (real Goldie locks moment) i suggested why not we do (fill in three colors here), the CD freezes up and gets annoyed because they don’t want to say yes or no without seeing it in front of them. Working on tight turn arounds and a cd who is too busy for meetings it proving tough with remote working. Any tips?
