Help. My supervisor and I work closely together on our project. Partner and SM have told us directly they want me more visible, to build a brand with client, etc. But when I raise my hand to take things on (drive meetings, sub initiatives etc), manager refuses to give up any of the “higher visibility” work so that, in his words, he does not risk himself falling out of the spotlight, he wants to be the “go to”.
