I still see the eyes of my patients as they are intubated and the fear they projected. So many died. My heart hurts for them, their families and all of those who cared for them until the end. Having some serious PTSD from this pandemic.

Invited 3 of DD's friends to sleepover; 2 said no bc "parents were out for the night& staying w a sitter." 3rd said yes, but sleepover shifted to their house w/o explanation. Diff mom just invited all kids to sleep over, incl DD. First 2 said yes; mom of kid 3 texted to ask if I was OK w our kids going to other sleepover; and mom also caught on voicenote telling her kid sleepovers OK, just didn't always have to be w my kid. Autistic so not good at reading motivation, but this is shitty right?
