Hi, I recently came across Scaler's MS program, which offers masters degree in collaboration with Woolf University (European University). And, I am looking move to Canada in near future. Will the master degree offered through this course will be accepted by the education evaluation institute WES? If yes, is it considered as equivalent to Canadian Masters degree? People who smile through it? Eh, I think they might be trying to make the best of a bad situation. People who defend leadership 👎🏻👎🏻
It's funny, I pretty much recognize some of my coworkers by your descriptions. I'm okay when people make jokes about things going wrong, it's better to laugh than cry. And I don't mind if someone tries to be positive in the face of adversity. But defending poor management by putting on a fake happy attitude is just the worst. I can't respect anyone doing that.
Pro
I think sometimes it starts as surviving and slowly turns into enabling. When “stay positive” replaces honest conversation, it can protect the system more than the people in it.

I used to do this and it was absolutely smiling through the pain, sometimes you just want to get through your day and that's what matters.
