I teach K-4 students art once a week.

I teach 5th and 6th grade art in a title one school. We have 1200 students and 3 art teachers, 2 choir teachers and the students transfer to a different fine arts teacher every 9 weeks. Some classes are packed in like sardines and others have under 20. We teach 7 classes a day...4 sixth grade classes and 3 fifth grade classes. I love it, it's fast paced and fun most of the time. The admin is awesome here about nipping behavior issues in the bud right away. I taught at a K-4 elem last year and the previous 14 years before that and it was starting to be a nightmare. Behavior at the elem was not great. Admin makes a huge difference for sure!

HS- photography, foundations ( level one), advanced (level 3), and AP 2D/ Drawing

I teach pre-k - 4th, 4x a week, 30 min. Classes
HS Art l, Art ll, Art lll ( 45 min. Class M-F) and our G/T students.

Here is my idea for a startup! I collect all the data from career transitions and use Data Analytics to predict the most likely career transitions. I could start with consulting. What do you guys think about this? I would be able to predict based on your firm(mbb, big4), your experience, which role you are likely to move (Faang pm, strategy manager, move to mbb). I have all the data to do this, but wanted your thoughts. Would the output of this be relevant to you?

Hello! I am being asked to create a "back to school" shopping list for my art class. What would you suggest asking for from parents? I'm moving to a new school with no former art program.

It only took me 7 years to figure this system out.... posting in case it helps anyone else! I color coded my classes and printed off numbers according to the number of kids in my classes. I then assign each kid a number that corresponds with my gradebook. When they turn in their projects, they put their number with it. This way, no contact and I can easily see who has and hasn't turned in their projects yet. I take the list down once they remember their number.
