In the boutique, equity becomes the real wealth builder. Your salary wont scale the same as a Big4, but would could end up doing very well if the boutique has a transaction with PE or a strategic.

It depends… for strategy, Tier 2. For large transformation programs (including but not limited to technology, Big4/Accenture). Tier 2 companies don’t have the necessary size to scale and very often don’t have 10% of internal assets as Big4/Accenture (they rely on people’s knowledge management instead)

Witch boutique? Tier 2 or an unknown firm?

Kearney, Strategy&, maybe even Alix and A&M

Which boutiques are hiring? I’m looking to leave a big firm to go to a smaller boutique.

What should they be called?

My only problem is that from B4/ACN you can move down (mid tier, small) while moving from small/mid tier to B4/ ACN is difficult because your network and potential book of business matters a great deal

Hi friends,

I'm a new joinee in MSFT.

People in my team they don't come with me for breaks. (They blame the timings are different since they sit in crits but i don't think so because they have their own group of friends to go with)

Secondly, when my team members see me in cafeteria we expect they'll sit with us but people here are being rude they directly go and sit with their friends they don't call you to join. ( atleast they could have said they are accompanied)

Senior to Manager-level Data Scientists, what is the minimum set of skills and experience you require someone to have in order to train them to be a Data Scientist?

I have a handful of people from BI and Marketing who want to learn how to be a "Data Scientist" where some of them have stronger SQL knowledge and ability than others, but some of them have more exposure to languages like Python and R, and a little bit of machine learning exposure.

Appreciate the input in advance.
