Audit staff 1 currently. Is right now a good time to ask for transfer to forensics? I know forensics is getting a lot of work lately. But not sure if they would take a staff 1 as opposed to a senior. Any suggestions? Should I start by messaging some forensics managers?

Hey guys current auditor here interested in Forensics. Is there a lot of travel involved in your jobs? I have been wanting a little bit more travel lately (barring recent months with Covid).

I recently passed the CFE and was looking into the CAMS next. Any suggestions on how to best prepare for the CAMS? I’ve been mostly reviewing the index cards that come with the prep material.
I’ve noticed a number of software providers have been offering their certifications/learnings courses either free or discounted recently. Anyone have any recommendations? I’m on the tech side of things.
I'm now officially a CFE. currently working as an Internal Auditor (mostly SOX engagements) though. Any advice on what I should do next - ie transfer to Fraud/Forensics or stay in my current path?

Anyone tried the new Sanctions Certificate (CGSS) offered by ACAMS? Trying to see how difficult it is considering I don't have a lot of experience with sanctions compliance. I have CAMS & work in AML
I’ve been hearing so much about EY Forensics getting a lot of work lately. I’m in Technology and I haven’t seen any difference yet. Almost makes me worry.
How have you all felt your executives have been reacting to this crisis from a peopling perspective? Have they shown genuine care for you guys or not really bothered to see how you have been doing?
