I want to switch role as an AWS developer. But I have just learnt the things on my own in AWS. In interview I am asked questions based on real scenarios on which I am not having any experience. Any suggestions? Even if I do hands on on services like Linux academy or quiklabs, it would not help. (AWS cloud migration experience one can get if worked on a real project). Please help.

Okay so I recently got into Booth off the waitlist (so so stoked, my first choice) with no scholarship but have accepted an offer to Tuck with a 30k scholarship. Post MBA goals are MBB. Leaning hard on Booth but is there any chance they’d swing a scholarship at this point in the game?

I’m in process for the green card and will likely get it next year. Should I wait to apply for MBA next year when the green card is approved? Does it make difference in success rate if I apply as a foreign citizen (Chinese) vs. a green card holder?

I used to be so eager to work and I was extremely diligent before moving firms. Now I don't want to do anything and I slack off to the point where I hate myself. How do I get back into the grind? I want to contribute more to my team and do better but my mind wanders so easily...
What type of self help strategies do individuals actually find helpful when you feel burn out or stuck in a rut? Any books, apps, meditation, podcasts, etc, others find helpful? I've done therapy and it has definitely helped this past year with covid and a marriage separation, starting to feel like I'm making progress and want to keep up the momentum. Looking to see what type of self help others find actually beneficial and would love to use that to help others stuck in burn out too

In a few weeks I’m transitioning from a client-facing consulting role to an internal role that’s not client facing. Looking forward to the WLB but a bit anxious about the pivot out of client work (will it be too slow paced, will I get bored, etc). Anyone have tips on being successful in this transition out of client work?
Why so much love for Magufuli? He spends the past twelve months pretending Covid didn’t exist, saying they didn’t need protective measures because god would protect his people, etc. and now he’s succumbed to Covid. It’s obviously sad when there’s any loss of life, but am pretty surprised.
Been living at home during the pandemic with my mom and sister. We’ve bickered in the past, like family normally does, but today I finally lost it and had a very bad fight with my sister. I feel awful. I said some mean things. I haven’t been out much, while she refuses to take this as serious and is more concerned about seeing her friends. She returned some low blows. I didn’t think or realize how this pandemic has killed my mental health but today was proof.
What’s the best pivot for someone specialized in digital marketing strategy without the bad wlb of working for clients. And how did you differentiate yourself to work for company with excellent wlb? Im only getting recruiters from agencies and consulting firms and don’t want to jump to another. Tried applying tech/client/industry side but I feel like my experience pigeonholes me to agencies and consulting firms.
