However, my application status has now changed to 'Welcome' (in red color) and is currently under the 'Inactive' tab. Before the employee ID was created, the status was 'Application Received' under the 'Active' tab.

Is this same for everyone?

Micro management will be there in all the companies because of some managers, Its all depend on the management of that particular project.
We should not generalize it to the company.

May be after 1 or 2 week of receiving offer letter.
They completed it in next 2 weeks.
So within 1 month my BGV completed.
Once the BGV is successfully completed, then only they will create employee id and employee profile.Then you will get some tasks to complete it in workday.
Thats all
