Beyond salary and cost of living, Texas politicians are stripping away human rights, so I would think twice about establishing roots in such a place, especially if you are a woman who needs medical care.
Good salary for the rest of Texas, maybe. For Austin? No.
If you're single, you might be comfortable on $89k. If you have family, it gets tight. You'd most likely be renting
Texas is hot garbage, don’t do it especially not at that salary. I’m sorry you’re in this situation.
Nah I wouldn’t relocate anywhere for less than $150k and moving expenses paid, but that’s just me.
To buy? Likely not. Housing in Austin is very expensive

What’s the role? If you’re single, yes. If you have a family, this will be tight on budget. Just live within your means.
Where are you currently and what are you making? Are you single and can you just go for a one bedroom apt? Is it actually a really good career opportunity?
Where are you currently in your career? What’s the career advancement personifies with the relocation ?
As someone that lives close to New Braunfels, I wouldn’t live close me to Austin for anything less than $150K
