My social media feed right now is full of crazy chickens, ducks, geese, etc. hatching the next generation in the most unimaginable locations: hay lofts, tree tops, etc.

Makes me happy I’m not a farmer - while reminding me why “having your ducks in a row” can mean pure chaos.

I think our equivalent is summer interns. Any unique stories yet about the new interns?

A lot of my Instagram feed comprises farmers in either Ireland or the UK. And in the spring they go through lambing season and calving season. I've seen so many videos of lambs being born, I feel like I could walk into a barn and help out. I've learned that lambs get up on their feet very quickly, and within minutes they're moving around. If only interns learned so quickly!

This post took me by surprise at every sentence haha. I'm not working with interns this year, thank God, but I am the new owner of 5 chickens and tender of a backyard chicken coop. I'm so excited, been waiting to do this for a while, and it finally worked out this year. A lot more fun than interns,, if you ask me!

Hi fishes, my previous employer has not given me the money for Earned Leaves, they are saying it's not in their policy.. I have a variable bonus of 100000. Out of this they have given only 19,000 in the month of December after 6 months of joining...But they are not giving me any bonus after completing 1 year and 2 months.. They have stopped my appraisal as well...

So in total, I lost my appraisal money, bonus and Earned Leaves money... I feel betrayed and cheated...

What should I do ??

This annual appraisal I have got a good % of appraisal increment on my salary but I was not promoted to a senior developer (although I have been mentoring a junior dev in my team and been part of building the project by implementing new technologies and tweaks) and my total YoE is 3.5+ years. What could be the reasons? What should I do now?
