Totally goofed an interview, was in sell mode/selling myself, but the I didn’t want to come on to strong so I buffered with “oh yeah I can do some of the work.” 🤦🏼♀️ Knowing full well I’d be an asset
When looking back to your first entry job interview, what’s a question you asked that makes you cringe thinking about it today?
One week since interview. Interviewer explicitly told me that he is onboard and wants me to meet his boss onsite next. No word yet. Sent follow up, no response. So confused. Am I rejected...?
Got to work at hotel all day today because client interviews were either rescheduled or cancelled. Oh well...

I have five years big 4. Always did well bonus and promotion wise. In between I left for IT sales to make more money but being in Boston I would of had to move for better opportunities. Now I’m back in consulting and miss the freedom of sales. Anyone in my position? I felt this way before quarantine too. The SM on my project almost got divorced so she worked so much, then she said I realized it just my life. It’s just too unhealthy. Thoughts bowlers?
Do you think it’s overkill to send a sample of my work product (wiped of client info) to my interviewer? I interviewed last Friday and sent a thank you. It’s been 10 days, they’re still interviewing..
What are your thoughts on making a company sign an NDA when asking you to do a case study for an interview? Really feel like these interview case studies are unfair towards applicants who spend time cracking their heads on original ideas that might be stolen, without a job offer.
I joined a large firm right before COVID shut everything down. Before that, I was at a regional firm where I was a meaningful part of the team. Ever since joining my new firm I've had almost no work. I realize COVID has slowed down a lot of real estate work but from what I can tell, associates in my office have work to do (people aren't very forthcoming with the new guy). I'm worried about being laid off and overall depressed about making the wrong career move. What can I do to save my job?
Turned 26. Which also means it's been 4 years since I finished undergrad. Buddy just finished dental school over that 4 years. Starting salary 180k. 9-5. I picked the wrong career.

I'm really good at my job, a high performer and have visibility with partners. However, I hate it. I wake up in the mornings feeling angry and resentful. I'm not able to exercise creativity as I'd like to, and feel I'd be happier in a completely different field. I'm scared to leave behind the reputation I've built. Big 4, it's safe/comfortable/addictive and Im addicted to being on cruise control. Anyone else been through the same?
To the Dads out there, how much time of paternity is acceptable ... Just got staffed and not sure what to tell my team
