Any new Financial Advisors in development programs and open to a discovery interview ?

Hey everyone! Any recommendations on what key metrics/buzz words to highlight as a sales engineer on a resume to stand out while applying to consulting/ba roles? I would like to attempt to make a transition into consulting at mbb or big 4.

Hi 🐠 ! If I’m 100% new to casing (have a business degree but have been in audit for a year), how long do you recommend practicing case interviews to be strong at it? Is 6-8 weeks sufficient? Would likely be applying for analyst/associate roles. My friends in consulting keep reassuring me that it’s a learned skill but after watching my first case interview ngl I’m pretty intimidated 😅

Next week I’m having my first lateral interview as a junior associate. I’m very nervous because the group with whom I’m interviewing works with life science/tech clients and the attorneys have strong science/tech backgrounds; and I do not. However, I am very, very interested in transitioning to this practice. And I reaaally want this job because it’s at my dream firm. How would you recommend preparing for the lateral interview?

Would anyone that works in entertainment PR/Talent management/Entertainment marketing be willing to set up an informational interview with a graduating senior looking to learn more?

Would you ask a former supervisor (SM) from a prev project/mentor help you case interview? He is also a trusted mentor for me. Not sure if it would be harmful in anyway given we’re in the same firm.

For context, this is someone who has advised me to not hedge all my bets on ACN, and to keep my options open. He mentioned he’s looking to do the same.

What does a EY-P case look like for the interview?

My son was going to part time preschool and on Wednesday the school told me they have opening for full time and would be happy to take mine FT . I told our nanny the same and she started looking for jobs elsewhere and also got interviews lined up. Today I send an email to the director confirming the tuition and they say for my son’s future it is best he only attends part time as he is highly spirited. Apparently he had a meltdown today. I am beyond irritated and wanted to vent somewhere.

Any data engineers from meta , get 3 SQL and 2 python in their phone screen interview. The questions were pretty simple , I just ran out of time on the last ones , but explained my process.

I am a consulting analyst who would like to become an investment banking analyst. I have seen a lot of positions requiring candidates with 1-3 years experiences in IB. I have the skills to do the job requirements but have not got the opportunity to get an interview. Anyone who has been in the industry would like to share some tips or share the type of skills that will stand out when getting screened by HR for the first interview, please let me know. I just need 10 minutes of your time.

Good Q. For our 1-3 year people, it’s a 1 hour 2 staff interview. Everything above that is about 2/2.5 hours with 4-6 practice leads/senior staffers and our GM.

I just had a first round interview with HR. It’s a large company with tons of reviews about what the interview process so I expected to get behavioral questions. In reality the person spent the first 10 minutes explaining what the role is not. They could not answer specific questions about the role and only asked me two specific questions about my current job and 1 behavioral question and then went into salary/benefits. Is it typical to still go over salary if they don’t expect to move forward?

Currently interviewing at JPMorgan in their CIB division for a associate operations role. Have met with 5 people for two different teams and another person for another team, all of which I believe are 3 total open positions for 3 different teams. Any insight on the interview process or how long it takes or any sort of idea to give me on what I could look for that might help me believe I might get an offer? Hello !! I am in the process of interviewing for a Product Manager position at PayPal - in their Global Pay Later team. I finished a Phone interview with the Hiring manager and a whole day of video interviews with the director, engineering manager and some Sr. Product Managers. I thought this was the last round.
The recruiter emailed me saying I have a last phone interview with the peer director of the director who interviewed me.
Any insight on what to expect ? I have another offer on hold.

I have received an offer from LTI for senior specialist position. I had 2 offers in hand. And I negotiated with LTi with 22 fixed and 10% variable. I have close to 7 years experience. Can you pls help me with he overview of the organisation.. how is LTI for experienced hires ? How is work culture, yearly hikes ? Will they give 100% variable pay?

Does anyone have advice on how to give helpful feedback on briefs that are not working? Without getting sucked too in the weeds or taking it over writing it myself? I’m working with a strategist thats fallen through the cracks at our agency. I really want to lift them up but finding their their briefs convoluted, repetitive and regurgitations of the ask. Overwhelmed with where to start

Looks like my company will be reducing our workforce by about 30%. My director let me know he is one of the people being let go and I’m not sure I want to work for his likely replacement. I’m not positive where I stand after a couple less than stellar months following a [failed] rollout of a new CRM, so I figure it’s time to update my resume. Currently in the online automotive space but really want a people management role that’s also remote and pays 6 figures. Any advice?
