Bain & Company Bain & Company Do you have any insights into what they are expecting in the second (last) round? I saw that there are two cases and a presentation. Are they more interested in professionalism than the "analytical" skills assessed in the first round? Do you have any more insights into the presentation?
Many thanks in advance

There are no regrets to this move, it’s just exceptionally hard to do at the right salary

Hate it, genuinely. The state of modern British corporations is pretty poor overall. I’ve never seen so much waste in my life, so much poor judgment and make-work jobs. The state of consulting is bad too, but it’s nowhere near as bad as industry. The best exit from consulting is to contract and stack multiple contracts.

Haven’t been able to make the conversion personally but a few my friends have. They’re the ones retiring at age 50 whilst I’m still suffering in garbage corporates. Plus zero corporate politics when you’re a contractor.
Consulting to Big tech. Loving no timesheets 🤣 and definitely less bullshitting and more doing.
However there’s a bigger air of layoffs in big tech. But definitely fun to be at the forefront of AI rather than just “talking about AI” in consulting when all we’ve done is just one project and we’re “experts” now
