CFF (Certified in Financial Forensics) certification is awarded by the American Institute of CPAs

CBV vs CFF Vs CFE as additional professional designations to CPA pros and cons?

I was wondering if the review course “CPE Self Study Course” for the CFF was enough preparation to study and pass the CFF exam. The CFE review course was enough and like if you get a question wrong it explains it well so that when it comes up in a different way in the real exam you can still get it. But when I saw the outline for the CFF material and there seems to be a lot of topics so I was wondering if the review course was sufficient considering this exam is also multiple choice. Thanks!

Wondering for anyone who got their CFF (Ceritified Financial Forensics) designation. Was it difficult? How long does it take to study for using the review course? Is the exam mainly multiple choice or short answer and how difficult? Any guidance or tips would help please. I already have my CFE but just want to know if CFF is worth it

Rising audit senior thinking of pivoting to forensics. Not sure if I want to stay at EY, but should I wait to get any forensics certification until I make the switch? Also, is it better to have a CFE vs. CFF? I already have my CPA

New to the points world and need advice. Planning a last minute trip to Chicago in a week and curious if you would use Chase points (60k) or $750 Currently have 130k from SUB+daily spending but not sure if it would be worth it to use points since the date is so close. Currently have CSR+CFF

2 questions:

1. Amongst all the big PA firms, who has the strongest forensic service line?

2. CAMS or CFE or CFF?(already a CPA).

Thank you!

Chase freedom flex or citi custom cash? I don't travel much (yet). I already get 3% on dining/groceries.

CFF is $200 bonus with 5% back on rotating categories capped at $1500 spend/quarter, 5% back Chase travel, 3% back dining/pharmacy

CCC is $300 bonus with 5% back on top eligible category capped at $500 spend/month

For those who have obtained the CFF certification:
I was asked to put together a working plan to obtain my CFF credential. I’m aware of the 2 certificate program (Core and Specialized) through the AICPA that will lead to the CFF. Does anyone have experience in how long it would take to complete the certificates and if there are other necessary or helpful study materials that would be useful? For background, I’m 6 months into working at this firm and have touched a variety of cases.

Anyone have the CFF from the AICPA and willing to share their studying/exam experience? Curious about required effort, study plans, exam structure, overall opinions of the cert. Thanks!

I received the CSR bonus on my Feb 2017 statement. I downgraded to CFF on Friday and today was approved for a new CSP. They wouldn’t approve my CSP app if I wasn’t bonus eligible, right?

Comp question - what should a B4 Senior with a CPA, CFF, CFE, and a MBA with 4 years forensic exp (D&T) and 6+ years non-forensic exp (industry) in NYC and DC markets expect in this current climate?

Anyone here get their CFF? What is the deal with the 1,000 hour requirement? Do I actually need to get my hours exported (showing some mixture of work) for the last 5 years? The instructions are vague.

Anyone take the CFF exam?

Anyone taken the CFF? Looking for advice on the first exam

Does anyone have the CFF (Certified in Financial Forensics) credential? Has it opened any doors?

Taking the CFF exam soon! Has ANYONE taken this? Review program kinda sucks and I'd love some insight

Shot in the dark- has anyone obtained their CFF? How did you study?

I’m currently working with a senior level HR candidate. This individual has a doctorate in business with a focus in HR, her SPHR, Federal, and private sector experience at the singer level, and has a fabulous personality. I’m curious is anyone else having difficulties play some candidates like this? At this point I’m starting to think it’s racial or her sex based of the lack of interest in this candidate. Any thoughts?

Anyone with experience or guidance navigating discussions with HR on gendered microaggressions/discrimination concerns? Until very recently I was the only woman on a sales team of 28 men. I can provide some concrete context if needed for advice, but essentially I had a conversation with HR last week and they said some comments I mentioned definitely constitute harassment and they felt my concerns about discrimination were valid, so that felt validating. Any advice welcome! Thanks in advance 🫠

My husband and I worked together at the same company for a year in different departments and they laid off 25 employees last week. My husband was one of them. 💔
It was dealt with poorly and severance benefits were bad compared to other companies we are seeing in the media. I’m really struggling to move forward and heal. The priority is for me to support him finding a new job but I just feel sick giving my time and energy to this company when they did this to us. any advice for strength😔

Favorite blend around $40-$50? My dad ‘wants to get into scotch’ but doesn’t want me to get him any bottle he wouldn’t buy himself. He'll definitely be throwing a rock or two in. Maybe Johnnie Black?

That was just a preview…
