When you’ve been promoted in the past, has it been a surprise or has your leader told you that you’re up for promotion?

Recently, someone in my org resigned and at that time their leader let them know they just put in a promotion for them. However, I’m not sure if this was a tactic to make them stay.

Any tips, tricks for GMAT and using Magoosh effectively? I’m a month-ish out of test day, and using Magoosh... my practice test says 660 (although I did much higher on GMAT math than Magoosh math).

After 6 years of temporary contracts and unstable situations, I find my dream job in my dream company. All of a sudden the world goes upside down and I get laid off. I start sending hundreds of applications, with only 2 recruiters getting back to me to say I don’t have experience for the job (this is how it works in Italy). Add a terrible health situation in my family and it seems there’s no light at the end of the tunnel. Ugh. 😞
