I have a written offer that’s contingent on a background check. I don’t anticipate any hang ups with the check but would like to wait until giving my notice until everything is official. My question is that there’s a set start date on my written offer. Which could leave my current position with under a 2 week notice period. Thoughts on how to cautiously proceed while waiting for background check to complete?

I currently lead a team of UX consultants working at an enterprise client. Recently, the consulting company got another enterprise client asking for a single UX resource and I am seriously considering it to diversify my experience. Deloitte India: 33 LPA (28 fixed)

Scenario:

You have two opportunities:
Stay at your current company, making 82k a year, with the communicated expectation that in 2 years you’ll make manager. Or go to a new company, taking a title demotion, and make 110k a year. The new company’s structure has 4 associate levels before manager, of which I’d be at the1st level, pushing manager out at least 5 years.

I have 10 years of experience. Mostly in Unix, C++ and Visual C++ and MS SQL. I developed interest in cloud computing as like many others and was able to clear AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solution Architect Associate and Professional, AWS Security. Along with these I was able to clear 8 Azure certifications as well: 3 fundamentals, Azure Security, Azure Developer, Azure DevOps and Azure Architect.
Now my main question, can I try to switch on Cloud Architect or some other similar cloud roles?
