What is the salary range for an international tax senior manager role at Big 4 in London? Thanks guys!
Has anyone taken on a role at a smaller CPA firm outside regional/big 4 tax to get a better work life balance and less stress. Currently 10 years into my career with a family. Willing to take a small pay cut to gain a better life. What roles should I look for as a tax senior manager?
I’m a tax Senior Manager at a Big 4 - my experience is in tax compliance for business travelers. I am curious to know what my exit opportunities are.

Hi, I'm a recent CW grad from a portfolio school. We all know that many agencies are on a hiring freeze for who knows how long. I've talked with many creatives and recruiters, and I can't help (cont.)
Is it appropriate to reach out after interviewing for a role and not hearing back for a week?
Any advice on building a copy writing portfolio? I’ve been working in social media and taking on the role as “the copywriter” but I crave more experience and I’m afraid social captions isn’t enough.
Accenture EU is massively hiring. Drop me a DM if you are interested. *All positions & CLs apply
I want to understand why was Arthur Anderson kicked out of the audit business. I know they played a major part in the Enron scandal. But still these days we are seeing scandals happening. Someday we see EY name popping (Wirecard) KPMG or some other Big 4 but we still hold a strong position in the market. Then why didn't Arthur Anderson in accounting and audit business especially what I have learnt that it was largest among the big 5 at that time?
I hate my current project... It's turned into a dead end role months from completion. My RP is good friends with the Director, and my group is relatively small. I feel pretty trapped 😔
If I get rejected from a cold application, can I apply again with a referral? Or will I get dinged by the system because I already applied once?
My group (Regulatory Compliance) within EY Advisory is hiring. We have 25 "Senior" level open spots. If you are interested, send your resume to email@example.com, and I can refer you.
My firm is changing my role and title away from consultant to “customer success” at the end of the year due to struggles with selling projects. Trying to leave, but feeling trapped (cont’d)
What is the Guidehouse hiring process like? My friend got an offer over a month ago and has yet to start? Background checks are complete and the team they were hired to won’t give them a definitive start date? Is this how they usually operate? This seems very unprofessional

Hiring a photographer (friend of a friend) for an hour to take pics during my proposal. He asked what my budget is - anyone had experience with hiring photographers? What's appropriate $ for an hr?
Is there an easy way to calculate an hourly freelance rate? Say…I wanted to keep an equivalent lifestyle to a $150,000 annual salary, what do I need to make hourly to match that knowing I won’t receive benefits. And should it be higher because it’s freelance?
So KPMG recently announced asking about current salary is no longer allowed during the recruiting process as of 10/31/17. Only thing they can ask about is expected salary. How about your firm?
This is OP from the post about Martin employees getting sick Xmas gifts THEY ALL GOT IPAD PROS OMG
For those that have DOE student loans, what are your interest rates like? Mine is around 6% (was before COVID) and am trying to figure out if that’s too high and I should refinance.
I'm starting a union, all staff's, seniors and managers can join. the main thing we will stand for is an actual 40 work week in non-busy season, 55 hours in busy season, no one's busy season to exceed 8 weeks in a calendar year. No more gas lighting, no more goal post moving, no more "we just need to get this done even though we have less people and more work" every year, no more "improve the quality of the work without additional time, resources or support", no more putting the burden on people
Yeah I checked some people in the performance tool.. wtf..some people who don't deserve it got the promotion..and this ONE guy I know for 100% sure should have been promoted and didn't..wtf????
Can anyone shed light on how the carried interest portion of a comp package is typically calculated and what is a typical % amount and vesting period?
I'm a senior 3 in tax in Chicago looking to leave public accounting because I'm so burned out. Recruiter sent me a 80,000 salary for an accounting senior role(It would mean making the switch from tax to accounting). I'm currently making 76,000. Am I getting low balled both at KPMG and by the recruiter? I dont know what's worse, staying and being super burned out with little hope for promotion or leaving for an accounting senior role with minimal salary increase because of the low opportunities.
Do we get any reimbursement for monthly parking or a partial reimbursement? I’ve heard of someone who is doing it
A little award bickering over here. We worked on a small project for a client that has an AOR. All original art, design, etc. Submitted and won an ad industry award for said project. Assuming AOR...

What’s a good way of telling a bunch of partners that I’m not that interested in having their job? I make $500k+ and my wife makes $300k, so we’re not really struggling financially and I don’t really need to make $1M+. I have 2 kids... I usually travel Mon-Thu but not always and I’m not in multiple cities in a week like most partners. I don’t have a natural “selling” personality. And, I’m not really stressed about work ever, like most partners I interact with.
Which companies insurance does EY GDS provides?
At what point does the value of a degree fall off? I'm in my early 30s, and have five years of experience, and work on a very theoretically interesting project. I believe I'm on track to promotion in the next year. So, I could put in a year of full time school to check the box off, but I'd be sacrificing hobbies and social life (not to mention cost). Is this FOMO or is there real opportunity here?
