Have you talked about your wedding with coworkers? I made the mistake of saying I had to leave work a little early one day because I was going to do a tasting at my venue. That starts a debate on why one shouldn’t get married, how much wedding costs & what a waste it is, dresses are stupid because you only wear them once, etc. I haven’t talked about my wedding much, but I didn’t appreciate this. Hello. Just curious on what's the salary ceiling for a manager position at Deloitte? Received a verbal offer and waiting on written offer. I was told by a recruiter that M at Deloitte doesn't make more than 180. Just curious if that's actually true and if anyone had experience negotiating higher salary than 180.

I originally applied for their core practice but the recruiter convinced me that since I’m coming from a financial services audit background, I’d be better suited for their FSO practice. I had my Assessor interview this past week and received a pre-screening questionnaire that asked about dual citizenship status. Because I don't even have a passport for the country I am a dual citizen for, I didn't even think about the possibile complications this could lead to with my application. I applied through a career fair at school and didn't see the citizenship requirements, so I guess that's on me.
