How to turn down a second round interview without burning bridges?

I’m interested in applying for a Senior investigator - surveillance with FINRA. Does anyone know what skill set may be needed for the role? I will def brush up on my securities laws and FINRA rules. I currently have my CFE and working on ACAMS.

I'm currently applying to a position at an agency independently and just got a call from my recruiter about a copywriter role for a different project at the same agency. I would take it if I don't get the first one but I'm a little confused as to what to do because the second one seems like it would start immediately but I don't want it as much as the first one. Any advice?

Hi! I’m just barely starting prep for case interviews in hopes of having a pretty good grasp before I submit my applications for BCG, Guidehouse, and Deloitte in a couple weeks. I’m currently working my through Hacking the Case Interview site but am wondering what else I should be doing and what courses or coaching ya’ll suggest when your start from about ground zero.

Would anyone that works in entertainment PR/Talent management/Entertainment marketing be willing to set up an informational interview with a graduating senior looking to learn more?

I’ve been asked by a hiring manager to submit a separate portfolio on top of my CV. Honestly I’ve never really done that for my past interviews, seeing my ‘portfolio’ usually makes up my CV.

Was wondering if there’s a good platform/ website that you’ve used to house your portfolio? Or is there any tips on this?

Hi all. Looking for advice. I’m trying to decide between 2 job offers (same salary) but different positions. One is a study director (essentially a project manager for a medical device company) and the other is in Quality Assurance (medical device company as well). Study director position company is slightly smaller but growing. I really want growth possibilities and a good career future. Any advice?

Low billable, low pressure work in patent lit, tech trans or privacy law? Slowly realizing that as my boys get older, the money isn’t worth what I’m missing out on. Currently a patent litigation associate with lots of hearing, depo and trial experience (I’ve appeared on my own at hearings/depos) at a well respected firm. Have my CIPM and CIPP/US /E and /C. Just feeling the burn out; 2000 hours of billables a year just isn’t sustainable for me long term. Money isn’t a huge issue.

How have your kids adjusted to you being back "at work"?

Ik this makes me a huge POS but I feel like I’m going crazy. I love animals, always have. I used to volunteer at shelters, dog sit for friends, even have 3 cats and 2 dogs. When I got pregnant the 1st time, suddenly everything they do pisses me off. I tossed it up to pregnancy hormones, but it’s been 2 years since my first and I’ve had a 2nd since. I don’t act out, but I can’t stop the constant thoughts of how much I hate them. Breathing, licking, all of it enrages me. Will this ever pass? 💔

I feel like I havent been performing to my best potential at work and I know it’s starting to show and my coworkers can probably recognize it. My boss just gave me some feedback and I am having a hard time not going down the rabbit hole of negative self talk. Any feedback on receiving constructive feedback from team ?
